A role-based league hub for Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer

NVYSL's mission is straightforward — "develop and promote a vital and exciting youth soccer program among its participating clubs" — but delivering on it means serving three very different audiences from one site: parents and players, coaches and officials, and referees.

What we built

Rather than one generic navigation, the site splits cleanly into role-specific paths — Parents & Players, Coaches & Officials, and Referees — so each audience lands on content relevant to them instead of digging through everything. A Schedule & Standings section sits front and center, backed by a personalized "My NVYSL" login for account-specific information.

We also built out the Nashoba Cup, the league's qualifying tournament, as its own results and bracket section, plus a live Field Status module so games don't get people driving to a closed field, and live chat for real-time support.

Why it matters

Youth league sites fail when every visitor has to wade through content meant for someone else. Structuring the site around who's actually visiting — a parent checking a game time, a referee checking an assignment — keeps the league running smoothly for everyone involved.
