Data Device Corporation supplies high-reliability data networking, transformer, and radiation-hardened components into some of the most demanding environments there are — military, commercial, and space platforms. The web platform behind that catalog was built in Laravel and, as the product line and traffic grew, later upgraded to Laravel 10 to keep pace.
What we built
The platform organizes an enormous technical catalog into four clear solution areas — Connectivity, Transformers & Magnetics, Rad Hard, and Custom — each with its own landing page and product depth. A part-number search lets engineers already familiar with DDC's component naming go straight to the datasheet they need, without browsing category trees.
The later migration to Laravel 10 modernized the platform's underlying framework version, keeping the codebase on a supported, secure release without disrupting the product data and search functionality already in production.
