A league operations platform for Boston Area Youth Soccer

BAYS coordinates youth soccer across a large network of member towns and clubs — which means the platform behind it has to handle league administration at a scale most sports sites never touch.

What we built

The site is built on Drupal to give league administrators direct control over content: news and season updates, key-dates planning posts, and multi-page policy documentation, all editable without a developer in the loop. Structured sections for Towns, Referees, and MTOC/PCup tournaments organize a genuinely large amount of league information into something navigable.

We also built out ongoing recognition programs directly into the CMS — Team Sportsmanship Awards are tracked and published season over season — alongside a dedicated admin area for the people running the league day to day.

Why it matters

A league this size runs on information staying current — schedules, policies, results — across dozens of towns at once. The platform was built so league volunteers can keep it that way themselves, season after season, without waiting on a developer.
